Vintage Small Black Wall Lights with Grille Guard

Small Black Wall Lights – Grille Guard Design

Looking for small black wall lights with a bit of attitude? This vintage-inspired lamp pairs a matt dark metal body with a grille that wraps the bulb. It keeps a low profile on the wall while still adding a strong graphic shape. The overall effect is retro and slightly utilitarian.

Dark and compact in spirit, this lamp is all about outline. The grille gives the bulb a graphic frame, a bit like the guard on an old machine. Lit, it throws a fine pattern of lines; unlit, it blends into the wall as a neat dark accent. The overall feel is retro with a utilitarian edge.

Styling

Think of tight spots such as a narrow landing, a small study or the wall beside a wardrobe. Two of them flanking a mirror can look striking and tidy. Pair them with pale paint, linen textiles and a few brass-toned accessories.

Quick FAQ

Does the lamp come with a bulb? No, the bulb is not included. The fitting takes an E27 cap, so any bulb with that cap will do.

Where would a pair look best? Either side of a mirror or a bed head makes a symmetrical arrangement. A short run along a hallway wall works nicely too.
