Terms of sale
Louise Vintage is a French simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée) whose registered office is at 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France. The company's SIREN number is 921574174.
ARTICLE 1: SCOPE
These terms of sale apply to all sales made through the website https://louise-vintage.com.
ARTICLE 2: ORDERS
Our computer records are regarded as proof of the nature and content of the order. Louise Vintage® confirms acceptance of an order to the customer by email, using the address the customer provided. The sale is final once Louise Vintage® has validated full payment of the order, that is, on the date payment is validated for orders paid online by bank card. Louise Vintage® reserves the right in any event to refuse or cancel any customer's order without having to justify its decision.
ARTICLE 3: AVAILABILITY OF ITEMS
All offers displayed on the website are valid. The availability shown when the customer views the site depends on the stock held by Louise Vintage® and by its suppliers.
To build our online shop window and catalogue, we work from information supplied by our suppliers and from databases. As these databases contain more than a hundred items, not every item is held in our own stock, and our offers therefore depend on the items being available from our suppliers.
If an ordered item is unavailable, the customer is informed by email or, for an order containing several items, on the invoice listing the items shipped.
If delivery times are longer than usual, we will let you know by email.
From placing the order until it is dispatched, the customer may cancel it. Cancellation can be made by email.
Louise Vintage® makes every effort, once an item goes on final sale, to dispatch items as quickly as possible to customers who reserved them, up to the stock supplied.
ARTICLE 4: PRICES
Prices shown on the website are in the currency of your market (pounds sterling, euros or Canadian dollars). They include the cost of the products, handling, packaging and storage, and may be changed at any time without notice; items are invoiced at the price in force on the date the order is placed. Orders are invoiced and payable in the currency displayed at checkout. Any customs duties or local taxes remain the responsibility of the recipient.
ARTICLE 5: SHIPPING COSTS
Where shipping costs apply, they include a contribution to preparation, packaging and postage costs. Please put all your items in a single order: we cannot combine two separate orders, and shipping costs, where they apply, will be charged for each of them.
ARTICLE 6: PAYMENT
Customers can pay by several methods offering maximum security. The customer can pay:
- By bank card or store card (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard), directly on the site, in the payment form offered during checkout (secure entry, SSL encryption), by entering the card type, the card number without spaces, the security code (on the back of the card) and the expiry date.
Payment is made, as the customer chooses, on the secure banking servers of our partners. This means that no banking information about you passes through https://louise-vintage.com.
The customer's order is recorded and validated as soon as the bank accepts the payment.
ARTICLE 7: DELIVERY
We deliver to your home or to a pick-up point. The delivery time includes parcel preparation plus transit time. Louise Vintage® delivers to the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada and the European Union. Additional charges may apply for deliveries outside mainland France or Corsica.
Delivery takes 7 to 12 days in total from validation of the order, preparation included, depending on the destination and the carrier. If there is a delay, we will let you know by email.
ARTICLE 8: WARRANTY, RETURNS, REFUNDS AND WITHDRAWAL
Items sold on https://louise-vintage.com are new, guaranteed against defects and come from approved suppliers.
If an item is delivered faulty or not as ordered, the buyer has 14 days from the date of receipt to request an exchange or a refund. If the fourteen (14) day period would normally end on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day. The request must be made by email to louise@louise-vintage.com before any item is sent back.
The customer must return the items unused and complete, in their original, intact packaging, with any accessories, instructions and documentation (in the original cellophane packaging, where applicable, and with the corresponding invoice). In this situation, the buyer must send proof of the defect(s) to louise@louise-vintage.com.
If the right of withdrawal is exercised, Louise Vintage® must refund the sums paid by the customer, free of charge, except for return costs. The refund is due within a maximum of 14 days of the effective receipt of the returned parcel(s).
Return shipping costs are covered by Louise Vintage for orders delivered in France. For deliveries outside France, they are at the customer's expense, except for faulty items or errors on our part (wrong size, item or colour), which we cover. See our refund policy for details.
When a customer requests a refund, Louise Vintage guarantees it will be made within 14 days of receiving the returned parcel. No cash-on-delivery shipments will be accepted, whatever the reason.
Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
ARTICLE 9: TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP AND RISK
Ownership of the products passes to the buyer only after full payment of the price, whatever the delivery date. The risk of loss or damage to the products passes to the buyer on delivery and receipt of the products.
ARTICLE 10: PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND OF OUR DATABASES
How we handle your personal data is described in our privacy policy.
Louise Vintage® owns all the databases making up this site. By accessing the site, the customer acknowledges that the data making up the site is legally protected, and in particular agrees not to extract, reuse, store, reproduce, represent or keep, directly or indirectly, on any medium, by any means and in any form, all or any qualitatively or quantitatively substantial part of the content of the databases on the site.
ARTICLE 11: LIABILITY
Product descriptions in the databases of https://louise-vintage.com were entered from information supplied by suppliers. Louise Vintage® is not responsible for the content of the works and cannot be held liable to the buyer in that respect. Louise Vintage® cannot be held liable in the event of force majeure.
ARTICLE 12: GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
All clauses of these terms of sale, and all purchase and sale transactions they cover, are governed by French law. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Paris. This does not affect the mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
ARTICLE 13: ACCEPTANCE BY THE BUYER
These terms of sale and the prices are expressly approved and accepted by the buyer, who declares and acknowledges full knowledge of them; placing an order means accepting these terms of sale in full.
These terms may be changed at any time without notice by Louise Vintage. English version updated on 2 November 2026.
