Vintage Hifi Wooden Speaker with Volume Dial

Vintage Hifi Wooden Speaker – Front Volume Dial

This vintage hifi speaker has a warm wood finish and a large volume dial on the front that gives it a true retro feel. The slim body measures 250 x 80 x 80 mm and holds a built-in speaker. A 1500mAh battery recharges by mini USB, and sound arrives via Bluetooth. The dial has an LED, which adds a small glow to the front panel.

The slim wooden body and the oversized dial on the front call to mind the living-room hifi sets of decades past. There is something very satisfying about a big, chunky control, and the soft glow beside it adds a hint of evening warmth. The wood tones bring a natural, grown-up feel, far from the glossy look of a typical gadget. Set down in a quiet room, it looks like it has always belonged there.

Styling

A narrow bookcase shelf suits its slim profile, with leather-bound books and a brass candlestick close by. On a study desk it sits comfortably between a lamp and a notebook. In a living room, try it on a low cabinet alongside a record sleeve propped against the wall. Warm lighting, woven baskets and green plants will bring out the colour of the wood.

Quick FAQ

Where is the volume control? On the front of the speaker: a large dial, with an LED, adjusts the volume.

What kind of décor does it go with? Its wood finish suits warm, natural interiors, such as a study with books and soft lamps. It also looks good among mid-century furniture.
